The Practice
Dr. Hrach is trained in Internal Medicine, a practice specializing in the medical needs of adults. Her practice includes a diverse group of both men and women of different ages and with different health concerns. Medicine has shifted over the years to specialty care and in keeping with that trend, Dr. Hrach has chosen to specialize in outpatient, primary care medicine. This specialization allows her to focus on important, sometimes overlooked areas of healthcare, including preventive care, which allows for more time to devote to each individual patient encounter.
Dr. Hrach utilizes the Hospital Admitting Physician group at Cottage Hospital and Goleta Valley Hospital to care for her patients in the hospital. This group of board certified internists is uniquely qualified to provide the most advanced inpatient care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Working together as a team, Dr. Hrach, the hospitalist and sub-specialty physicians are able to provide you with the best possible medical care in Santa Barbara.
Dr. Hrach has worked hard to create a comfortable, welcoming office experience. Her office has a “homey” quality and her friendly staff is available to assist your needs. The office is centrally located on State Street with ample parking and wheelchair access.
Dr. Hrach utilizes advanced computer technology in the management of her patient records and billing. She was one of the first doctors in Santa Barbara to utilize electronic medical records and electronic medical billing and has recently begun submitting prescriptions electronically. This technology allows both the doctor and her staff to meet patients needs in an efficient and timely manner and minimize errors.
“I believe that doctors and patients must work together as a team to reach a primary goal – the health and well being of the patient. My role in keeping patients healthy is to communicate my medical expertise to them in a language they can understand and help them make sound medical decisions. I strongly believe in the philosophy of preventive medicine as a way to keep patients healthy and active. I am open to alternative forms of healthcare and will work together with other health care professionals to assist my patients in meeting their healthcare goals. I have strong professional relationships with many subspecialty physicians and work closely with them to provide seamless medical care to my patients. I truly enjoy and respect the special relationships formed between myself and my patients and appreciate the trust that they place in me.”
